LoJack Asset Recovery

LoJack is the most effective stolen asset recovery system, and the only system used by law enforcement agencies to recover stolen vehicles. LoJack is also available for heavy equipment, generators, construction equipment, and trailers.

LoJack vs AVL/GPS

Automated vehicle locating and GPS tracking provide a useful daily management tool for tracking vehicles and people. However, because GPS is dependent on satellites, the antenna is visibly placed outside the equipment/vehicle, and does provide tracking ability--anywhere in the range of the satellites--as long as it is outside. 

Most GPS tracking service providers charge some sort of usage or monthly access fee beginning as low as $20/ per month. There are no monthly fees, airtime fees, or recovery fees from LoJack. Price includes installation, and represents a one-time investment (exception for trailer units—please inquire).
 
The difference is that LoJack is an externally "invisible" device that is installed in up to 40-different locations on any one piece of equipment.  There is no external indication that LoJack is installed on the equipment--no antennas, no power leads to the battery, etc.  GPS becomes ineffective when the antenna is disabled, or if the equipment is placed inside a shed, trailer, or garage.
