Communications Technician

Requirements:
High School Diploma.
An AAS degree in electronics or equivalent military communications training is desired.
Minimum 2 years current experience in servicing Motorola mobile radios, base stations, remotes, repeaters, and consoles.

Alcatel/Lucent Certified Telecom Technician

Creative Communications is looking for a motivated individual to join our team! 

Duties include:
Install, configure and maintain an OmniPCX 4400 in a standalone or network configuration
Start-up and shut down the OmniPCX 4400
Installation and Configuration of the 4760 management tool
Import/Export customer data

Configure, Modify and Enable:

• Reflex and analog extensions
• Voice guides
• Categories
• The Hotline feature
• Call Pick Groups
• Hunting groups
• Call Distribution tables and Night forwarding set
• Attendant sets (4035 and 4059)
• Attendant groups
• Trunk groups T1, Analog
• Mono-entity barring
• ARS (LCR) configuration
• ISDN Identification numbers
• Multi-line functions on a digital set
• Manager / Assistant on multi-line sets
• Twin-set on multi-line sets
• Direct speed-dial numbers
• IP phones
• RMA (remote maintenance function)
• 4635 Voice mailbox on user
• CPU duplication
• Describe system message fields for alarms and incidents
• Utilize the MAO history tool
• Load Omni PCX CPU's with:
• Mono version software
• Changing version (Loading a Patch)
• Multi Version software
• Connection and transfer categories
• Phone facilities categories
• A point-to-point IP address
• Hybrid ABC link on IP and on B channel
• ABC hybrid link on demand, type T1
• 4760 Centralized management in the network
• Hunt group in the network
• Manager/assistant group in the network
• Call distribution in the network
• VPN application
• Remote PABX accesses (TA, IO2, OBCA, login)
• Audit and broadcast applications
• Speed dial number by range options
• PWT in a standalone and network configuration
• Fully utilize the enabled features

Requirements:
College Degree Preferred

Five years Telecom and Two years Alcatel/Lucent experience

ACFE, or ACSE Certification a must
Computer and Network Knowledge and Skills
Good Diagnostic Skills
Good Communications Skills
